WHO BARTERS?
Bartering or Trading is a Business to Business (B2B) procedure. There are four main Barter Area’s or Levels!
- Retail Trading or Bartering. These are local businesses and professions that sell and buy their Products and Services to each other. Sometimes called Local Barter and Trading. Some examples of the Businesses who are members of an local Trade or Barter Exchange and Buy and Sell with each other, are Printers, Hotels, Restaurants, Accountants, Attorneys, Doctors or Retail Clothing Store.
- Commercial Trading or Barter. These are Manufacturers, Wholesalers and National Retailers that Trade and Barter through local Trade and Barter Exchanges, Clubs, Organizations, Trade Brokers, Media Brokers and National Barter Organizations. Some examples are Shoe Manufacturers, Equipment Manufacturers, Toy Manufacturers and Distributors, Hotel Chains, Restaurant Chains, Radio and TV Stations, National and Specialized Print Publications.
- Corporate Bartering. This done by large Corporations through their own In-House Bartering Departments who deal with Trade and Barter Organizations, Media Companies. Media Brokers and Vendors that are providing materials and services.
- Counter-Trade. These are large Multi-National Corporations and Countries that Trade or Barter Products and Services on a country to country basis. Many of these counter-trades involve more than two parties, multiple products and contracts to buy or sell in the future.
